Un paseo en su jardín de variedades, una cata de sus aceites entre olivos (junto a la almazara Oliduero), o el sencillo acercamiento al mundo del vino a través de sus vinos y espumosos elaborados con Verdejo son motivo más que suficientes para viajar a Emina Rueda. Emina was the first winery in Spain to measure the carbon footprint of a wine, which is now also made with native yeasts. It has been awarded the European Environment Award in the SME category, highlighting its sustainable approach to wine production. Located in a modern building that makes full use of natural light and a total renewable energy system. In addition, like the other wineries of Bodegas Familiares Matarromera, it is part of the "Matarromera Sostenible Planeta Tierra" program, which includes practices such as reducing the carbon and water footprint and other initiatives that strengthen the connection with the territory. Emina is the family of wines most closely linked to sustainability, as it has been awarded the Sustainable Wineries for Climate Protection Plus category seal, among other certifications.
