In response to climate change, Ramón Bilbao Rioja has launched an action plan with sustainability as a priority. In addition to launching its line of organic wines, Ramón Bilbao is the first winery to obtain, for both winery and vineyard, the Wineries for Climate Protyection certification, supported by the Spanish Wine Federation. The winery and vineyard use sustainable machinery, generate their own energy, carry out R&D studies to make winemaking techniques more sustainable, use techniques to promote recycling, provide visitors with electric chargers for cars and, of course, work with respect for the local fauna, so as to promote biodiversity.
