Vivanco in the Rioja Alta is much more than a winery: it is the dream of a family to value wine and its culture as elements of civilization.

The subway winery is fully functional; it was built underground with the aim of eliminating as little vineyard area as possible and minimizing the environmental impact, favoring the conservation of the landscape.

Vivanco houses one of the best wine museums in the world (recognized since 2007 with the UNWTO-UNESCO Ulysses Award for Best Cultural Project), with a permanent collection distributed in five rooms that brings together more than 6,000 pieces of the Vivanco Family. The collection includes from great works of art (Picasso, Sorolla, Juan Gris, Chillida, Barceló, Genovés, Warhol, among others) to archaeological pieces.

Vivanco is a unique setting that offers solutions for all kinds of MICE needs. It has unique spaces such as the octagonal aging room or the vat room; practical and fully equipped spaces such as the conference room, the tasting room, the tasting room, terraces, viewpoints, hermitage or restaurant; as well as multiple outdoor areas for celebrations, work or meetings.

Sharing wine culture

From the passion of the Vivanco Family, this experience offers a unique vision of the wine culture: the best Wine Museum in the world and a XXI century winery surrounded by vineyards, to live a complete, exclusive and unforgettable visit.

The grape harvest festival

Autumn experience in the vineyard overlooking the Sierra de Cantabria: viticulture, grape harvest and grape treading. Winemaker's lunch with wine at the foot of the vineyard and visit to the winery to discover the production, ending with a fun contest.

Wine Gymkhana

Team game at Finca El Cantillo to get closer to the wine culture. Participants will be winegrowers guessing grape varieties, winemakers tasting our wines and explorers discovering unique pieces of the museum.

Art and wine

A fun activity at the Vivanco Museum focused on teamwork: attendees receive clues and, working together, locate pieces in the galleries. The experience concludes with a joint tasting of single-varietal wines from the Vivanco Collection.

Vivanco Legacy

Premium activity that discovers the 'Vivanco Works of Art': great pieces of the Museum of Wine Culture, emblematic wines of the winery, the architectural beauty of the complex and the exclusive cemetery of bottles of old vintages.

Gastronomy for events

We have a panoramic restaurant overlooking the vineyards on two floors that offers a cuisine with Riojan roots and a contemporary approach, based on local and seasonal products. We offer personalized menus: from business lunches to gala dinners or exclusive pairings and gastronomic experiences designed for meetings and corporate events, in different areas of the winery and with unique views of the vineyards.
